Happy New Year! 2012 is really starting off with a bang. Not only did the NAS kill the newest hard drive in the RAID array, but my camera gave up the ghost too. Meh, guess we’re going shopping next weekend.

This weekend was cold and rainy so we stayed mostly indoors. We took the kids to the fantasy world that is on the 3rd floor of a nearby shopping center and Layla enjoyed. Julia also seemed to have a good time but she was a bit small for most of it. Soon enough, though, those two are going to be running around together having fun and making trouble.

NAS-ty Hardware Failure

Our NAS is having some major issues and so we replaced it. I’m setting up the new one now and once it’s set up, I’ll get pictures from this weekend online. Should only take a day or two to move everything over. Grumble, grumble…

It’s Beginning To Look A Little Like Christmas

This weekend we ended up going to Shinjuku where the Christmas lights are out in full force. We did a bit of shopping and had a nice tempura dinner at Tsunahachi before checking out the lights which didn’t disappoint.

Sunday we picked up some international driver’s licenses before having a nice sushi dinner with Tamie’s folks and sister in Ebina.
