Stranger in a not-so-strange land
After updating my gallery, I broke my mechanism for uploading pictures. I rewrote the app (this time trying to learn how to use WPF, for those keeping track) and think it’s working now so I can upload pics again. If there’s any weirdness in the gallery, let me know – I’m still working out the bugs.
So without further ado, check out the gallery for hopefully enough pics to satiate even Mom’s appetite for grandkid photos.
Been tweaking the gallery recently so if anything was broken, I’m sorry. I believe everything should be fixed now if you click on the gallery link (previous posts that link to the gallery have not been updated yet…) If there are any errors now, let me know. Thanks.
Just updated the videos page – now it automatically picks up changes when I upload a video to youtube. It’ll have to change once I upload more than 50 videos, but for now that’s safe. =)
PHP Regex FTW!
So now the gallery page is self-generating, the videos page is self-updating… I just need to figure out how to make these blog posts write themselves.
Got the server and database moved over to a more stable, less noisy machine. Hopefully things are working now – let me know if you find any issues.
I’ll put up some pictures as soon as I get that software moved over (and working) on the new server. It shouldn’t take long, but the laws of procrastination and a lack of time mean it might be a day or two.
My server is not healthy and needs upgrading so this site might be up and down for the next little while.
For now, I’ve been playing around with the gallery code – click the gallery tab. It should show the latest updated pictures. Is this more useful than my writing a post linking to the latest gallery? It’s certainly easier for me
