Just a quick note to wish a Happy Birthday to my young Mom back in Ottawa. Wish we could be there with you to celebrate with cake and candles. More candles than cake this year, eh?

Got back to Japan on Sunday night and been struggling with jet lag ever since. The daughter is up every morning before the sun meaning the father gets to get up earlier than ever (yay!).
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone we had the chance to see in Canada for making our short trip a good one and sorry to those we missed. Next time will definitely be longer than 7 days.
